Terms of Use

These Terms explain the agreement for using the BEE Platform Beta.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and BEE Platform, LLC (“BEE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the BEE Platform Beta (the “Platform”).

By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

BEE is a membership and support platform for the Autism community, including caregivers, parents, and Autistic individuals. Because the Platform is in Beta, features may be added, changed, removed, or may not always work as expected.

You must provide accurate, current information when creating and maintaining your account. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

You may create a profile for a dependent only if you have the authority to provide that information and to make decisions about the dependent’s use of the Platform. You must keep dependent information accurate and use the Platform in a way that protects the dependent’s privacy. See our Privacy Policy for the information that may be collected for a dependent and how it is used.

An eligible caregiver account may receive a digital Bee Card. The card may display a membership identifier, member name, validity information, and a QR code for use with participating partners. Presenting or sharing a Bee Card is voluntary. Do not share it with people you do not trust; a person who scans or receives it may see the information encoded in or displayed on the card. The current data shown through the card is described in our Privacy Policy.

Some features require a paid subscription. Before a charge is made, the applicable plan, price, currency, billing interval, and included benefits will be shown to you. Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or annual recurring basis and, where shown at checkout, renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout. BEE does not store full payment-card numbers. You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and for applicable taxes. If you cancel, your access normally continues through the end of the paid period unless the checkout terms say otherwise. Any plan-change, proration, refund, or failed-payment terms presented at checkout apply to that transaction.

The Platform may connect you with or rely on independent third-party services, such as payment processors, social sign-in providers, wellbeing services, map and location services, partners, communities, consultants, email, SMS, and push-notification providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. BEE does not control and is not responsible for independently provided third-party services, content, availability, or practices.

If you separately choose to receive transactional text messages, BEE may send one-time verification codes during account registration and password-reset codes when you request a reset. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive these messages is not required to agree to these Terms or to use the Platform; where available, you may use an alternative verification method instead.

Reply STOP to cancel transactional text messages or HELP for help. For support, contact support@mybeeworld.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You may not use the Platform to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, harass, threaten, or harm another person;
  • impersonate another person or provide false account, dependent, or payment information;
  • misuse, copy, share deceptively, or fraudulently use a Bee Card or membership benefit;
  • interfere with the Platform, bypass security controls, or attempt unauthorized access; or
  • misuse information about a dependent, child, partner, community, or other user.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users or the Platform.

The Platform may provide access to an independent wellbeing service, including Wysa. Such services are not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency or crisis services. Do not rely on the Platform or a wellbeing service for emergency assistance. If you or someone in your care may be in immediate danger or crisis, call 911, contact local emergency services, or call or text 988 in the United States and Canada.

Wysa and other independent wellbeing providers are responsible for their own services, terms, privacy practices, and content. BEE does not control their advice or outcomes.

You retain ownership of the information, photos, notes, and other content you submit to the Platform. You confirm that you have the right to provide it. You give BEE a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, display, and protect that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Platform and provide requested services.

The BEE name, Bee Card, and other Platform content are owned by or licensed to BEE. You may not copy or reuse Platform content except as these Terms allow or with our written permission.

You may request account deactivation or closure through the Platform or by contacting us. Account closure stops access and may cancel or affect membership benefits, but it is not the same as an immediate deletion of every record. You may also submit a privacy request to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal information. We may retain certain information when necessary for security, fraud prevention, financial records, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

The Beta Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BEE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or an independent third-party service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms as the Platform develops. We will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date. When required by law or appropriate for a material change, we may provide additional notice or ask you to accept the revised Terms before continuing to use affected features.
